The deal

Casella is a household management app for couples. These terms are the agreement between you and Casella when you use the app or this site. If anything is unclear, ask at [email protected].

Your account

Sign up with accurate details and keep your sign-in to yourself; what happens under your account is yours to answer for. You need to be 18 or over to use Casella.

Your household and your content

Everything you put into Casella stays yours. We take only the permission we need to run the app: storing your content, syncing it, and showing it to the people in your household.

When you join a household, the other member sees what's in it.

Acceptable use

Use Casella to run your household. Don't use it for anything unlawful, don't attack or overload the service, and don't try to get at data that isn't yours.

Free and Plus

Casella has a free plan and a paid plan, Casella Plus. The price, renewal, and cancellation terms for Plus are shown when you buy it, and billing runs through Google Play. One subscription covers the whole household. We can change what's in each plan; if a change takes away something you've paid for, we'll say so before it happens.

Provided as it is

Casella is built by a small team and provided as it is. We work to keep it running, but we can't promise it will never be down, and features can change or be retired. Whatever changes, your right to export and delete your data stays.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Casella isn't liable for indirect losses from using or not being able to use the app. Nothing in these terms removes rights that consumer law gives you.

Ending things

You can stop using Casella and delete your account whenever you like; the data deletion page explains how. If an account breaks these terms, we can suspend or close it, and we'll contact you first when that's reasonable.

Changes and contact

When these terms change, the date at the top changes with them, and material changes get a notice in the app first. Questions: [email protected].
